Song Load Time

Even though I can playback almost instantaneously after the song opens up in Ableton, I find that the waveforms in the tracks are greyed out and slowly turn black over time as its loaded off the harddisk. I would check the buffer settings in your audio preferences in Ableton Live and increase them just a bit. Play with different setting and find what will work for your computer. Make sure you've shut down your other programs while you're running Live. All the best!

Matthew, Good questions. Your new MacBook should be plenty fast to run the tracks. There are a few things you can do to increase performance. 1.
