I'm a Logic Studio user. I have successfully set Logic up to execute multi track playback - with video - and eliminated my need for ableton (in a day I would like to add). I would be willing to share my wealth of knowledge. jasonmayfield.com

Hey Jason, my name is Bryan and I have Logic Studio. I want to start using IWL tracks but don't really have the $$ in my budget to purchase Ableton. Any tips on how you set up IWL tracks with Logic would be very helpful. Are you able to loop parts also with Logic? Also, what midi keyboard/control surface do you use? Thanks for your wealth of knowledge.

For sure bro... I've uploaded some videos on my blog - jasonmayfield.com/blog - on how to do this. (these are a little custom to how I do things - but should be helpful) If you'd like to send me an email to jdmayfield@me.com with your number and a good time to call I can always walk you through it. Do you have an IWL track? When you sign up you get a free one... that would be helpful for a walk thru. :-) I use a m-audio axiom 49 as my midi keyboard in the studio for making my own tracks. To execute tracks live I use the korg padKontrol... it's very handy.
